Assistant Director of People & Culture

The Four Seasons Resorts L?nai is looking for an Assistant Director of People & Culture who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

What Youll Do

The Assistant Director of People & Culture works closely alongside the Director of People & Culture to oversee the day to day running of the People & Culture operation for Four Seasons Resort Lanai, Sensei Lanai, and all other Four Seasons Lanai entities. This role has direct involvement in benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention, employee communications, career development, wage & hour compliance, learning and development, workers compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees.

• Oversee the administration of employee benefits and ensure compliance with wage & hour regulations
• Support recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies
• Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture
• Take lead on labor relations and union communications
• Oversee employee communications and career development initiatives
• Coordinate and support learning and development programs
• Handle workers compensation and employee?related legal matters
• Plan, organize, and participate in employee engagement events and recognition programs
• Collaborate with leadership to align People & Culture strategies with business goals

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for a L?1 Visa sponsorship)
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Weekend and Holiday availability may be required
• 35 years of experience in a People & Culture leadership role.
• Strong background in labor relations and union experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and discretion
