About the Role
The Company is in search of a Fractional CFO to join their advisory group. The successful candidate will be a seasoned executive with a strong background in strategic finance, FP&A, and technical accounting, particularly in the context of high-growth, investor-backed companies. This role involves serving as an interim or part-time CFO for client companies, providing financial leadership in areas such as long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital strategy. The Fractional CFO will also be responsible for guiding technical accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with complex standards, and leading audit readiness efforts.
Applicants for the Fractional CFO position at the company should hold a CPA and/or MBA and have a minimum of 12 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, including a stint at a Big 4 or national public accounting firm. The role requires a proven track record as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader in PE-backed, public, or high-growth companies, as well as experience in fractional, interim, or consulting-based CFO roles. A deep understanding of technical accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and a history of building FP&A processes and tools is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior leadership. Industry exposure to SaaS, healthcare, manufacturing, or consumer products is a plus. Travel Percent
