Per diem. Day/evening hours available with a rotating weekend coverage required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to:

• Teach exercise principles, respond to any emergent events, and tend to the environment of the fitness center.
• Perform assessments on new participants - taking account of medical history, exercise history, and any basic exercise physiology measurements.
• Use data and information to develop safe exercise programs for new and existing participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field Required

Work Experience

• Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults Required
• Previous healthcare experience Preferred
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current CPR/AED certification Required
