Full-Time Farm Hand – Now Hiring

Location: Southern MN
Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Farm Hand to join our operation. This is a full-time, year-round position with a wide variety of responsibilities across crop production, equipment operation, livestock care, and general farm maintenance. Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Operate tractor-trailer for grain hauling
• Tend sprayer and assist with chemical mixing and handling
• Operate ground rig sprayers
• Operate tractors for planting, tillage, harvest, and additional fieldwork
• Safely use skid loaders, loaders, utility vehicles, and other farm machinery

Field & Crop Work

• Support planting, spraying, fertilizing, and harvest operations
• Basic agronomy tasks as needed
• Follow application guidelines and maintain accurate application records
• Land and Facility maintenance

Mechanical & Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with larger repairs
• Maintain farm buildings, fences, bins, and facilities
• General land and property upkeep

Livestock Care

• Assist with daily care, feeding, and monitoring of livestock
• Maintain clean and safe pens, barns, and handling areas

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to operate tractors and farm equipment (training provided if needed)
• Willing to obtain an Minnesota Ag Pesticide Applicator License (or currently certified)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Mechanical aptitude is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with planting, tillage, harvest, or spraying
• Previous livestock-handling experience
• CDL or willingness to get one
• Welding or fabrication skills
