Installation Technician

Position: Installation Technician

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay: $18.00 to $28.00 depending on skill set

Job Type: Full-Time

What you will be doing: You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of transport refrigeration equipment and auxiliary power units.

Requirements to Apply:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of mechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems. Experiences may include Diesel engines; Heavy equipment repair; or Light duty mechanics
• Upfitter experience preferred
• Must supply own tools
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle or free objects.
• Use computers for web-based training and work order system
• Dependable and reliable
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to retain knowledge of standard operating procedures and follow verbal and written instructions
