Job Description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join their team. As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Location: Zeeland, Michigan

Pay Range: Up to $42.50 hourly (+ Quarterly bonuses)

What's the Job?

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of instrument and electrical systems on complex manufacturing equipment
• Perform instrument calibrations (pressure, temperature, flow, speed) using various tools
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation ranging from pneumatic and analog to smart generation technology
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, DSC (Delta-V), and plant historian (PI) systems
• Make informed decisions on equipment diagnosis and repairs to prevent product issues

What's Needed?

• Valid MI State Journeyman Electrical License
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices
• Ability to lift/move 10–35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to safety and regulatory compliance
