Major Food Group is hiring a Marketing Associate to join our growing Marketing team!

Major Food Gorup is a New York based hospitality company founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. From a small, intimate deli restaurant in Little Italy, MFG has evolved into a hospitality powerhouse creating iconic restaurants and gaining national and international attention for its unique style and culinary prowess.

From classic steakhouses to casual French bistros, Japanese brasseries and cocktail bars, each concept is uniquely and intentionally designed with the goal of transporting guests to another time and place. We tell complete stories and provide guests unforgettable experiences. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall Marketing Support
• Update company websites with menu updates, new content, and promotions.
• Conduct marketing research, identify trends, and report findings.
• Perform competitive analysis to benchmark company activities against industry standards.
• Support the development of presentations and marketing materials for internal and external use.
• Maintain a detailed task list and ensure timely execution.
• Track and measure campaign performance, create and update internal dashboards.
• Maintain and update email marketing database.
• Community Management / Social
• Research social trends and monitor competitors; recommend strategies to improve digital presence.
• Community Engagement support
• Track and analyze performance metrics for internally run social media accounts; report key insights to supervisors.
• Coordinate meetings and draft correspondence with potential collaborators, purveyors, PLUs (people like us)
• Assist in social media grid planning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience managing social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook preferred)
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
• Ability to perform basic graphic and video editing (Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, or equivalent)
• Self-motivated, organized, capable of working independently
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Occasional attendance to live events 

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 hourly based on experience
