Position Summary:

We are actively seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our client’s Interventional Radiology team. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a motivated provider with hands-on experience in minimally invasive procedures and a passion for delivering comprehensive patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations, including initial assessments and follow-up planning.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, ECGs, and laboratory work.
  • Assist in and perform interventional procedures, including but not limited to: port placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and vascular catheter insertions (under physician supervision).
  • Coordinate care for patients with both vascular and non-vascular conditions, including arranging necessary imaging and labs.
  • Document patient histories, findings, and treatment plans, ensuring clear communication with the broader healthcare team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Active Physician Assistant license and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 50 fluoroscopy-guided procedures completed in the past 24 months.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
