Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic school district located in Ypsilanti, MI. This contract role requires an onsite presence and offers flexibility between full-time and part-time hours to meet the needs of the district and students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct support and interventions to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing school psychology services.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Michigan School Psychologist license.
- Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and fostering a positive learning environment.
