Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Special Education or Related Studies
• Licensed in WI 

Role Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will support students with diverse learning needs by creating inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• * Immediate need through the end of the school year 2025-26!
• Location: Milwaukee, WI 53210
  * Hours 8 am-4 pm, can be flexible.
  * K-3, K-4 and K-5 with a current caseload of 12 students
  * Special Education Teacher to work full time, 37.5 hours per week. 
  * A mixture of push-in and pull out
  * Start is immediate - end of May 2026
• Pay Rate: $38-$50 per hour 

Key Responsibilities:   

• Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP Goals
• Support in the facilitation of IEP meetings as well as development of the IEP
• Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental levels and interests of their students
• Set and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior and school environment by applying positive reinforcement and/or behavior modification techniques as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of student behavior intervention plans
