What You'll Do:

• Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the location.
• Receive and respond to calls for service, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Communicate clearly with security personnel and/or staff to relay information and provide instructions as needed.
• Document incidents, activities, and communications accurately in logs and reports.
• Assist in monitoring surveillance systems and alarm panels to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance related to security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
