\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide pre-operative, Phase I, and Phase II recovery care for pediatric and adult patients
\n• Care for patients across all surgical/procedural populations except those requiring critical care services
\n• Work with patients from all surgical specialties including endoscopy, interventional radiology, and pulmonary lab procedures
\n• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
\n• Work 2-3 scheduled weekends per contract
\n• Must be comfortable caring for patients of all ages including pediatrics
\n• Support 34 operating rooms across 2 floors plus 2 cystoscopy suites and specialty labs
\n• Handle regional anesthesia and ECT procedures
\n• Operate specialized equipment including Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, and Accuvein
\n• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS (AHA certified)
\n• Must maintain compact or Louisiana license
\n• NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of submission)
\n• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
\n• Preferred PACU or pre/post operative experience
\n• May be assigned to Emergency Team during facility emergency events
