Now Hiring: Mechanical Millwright – Chicago, IL

Pay: $40 per hour

Schedule: 4 Days per Week | 12-Hour Shifts | Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Mechanical Millwright for a full-time opportunity in Chicago, Illinois . This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial environments and a proven track record in machine maintenance and mechanical systems.

Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, working 12-hour shifts, four days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machines and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and motors
• Align and install machinery and mechanical systems
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance procedures
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a mechanical millwright in an industrial setting
• Proficiency in machine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, tools, and practices
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Reliable transportation to the job site in Chicago, IL
